Consultant
Position Overview
As a Consultant with Social Contract, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of projects for a diverse portfolio of clients. Reporting to the Director of Impact, you will help translate strategy into action while ensuring high-quality outcomes that advance client goals.
In this role, you will develop & activate work plans, own the client and stakeholder relationships, and direct project team members to ensure project success.
As part of an evolving, AI-enabled consulting environment, you will leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to strengthen research, analysis, problem-solving, content development, and project delivery. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to integrate technology thoughtfully while maintaining a human-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Impact and Senior Advisors to translate strategic direction into actionable project plans.
- Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within scope and budget.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements that drive collaboration and alignment.
- Conduct and synthesize research and analysis using traditional and AI-supported methods.
- Develop clear, client-ready materials, including presentations, reports, briefing documents, and workshop content.
- Identify project risks and implementation challenges, and recommend effective solutions.
- Support business development through proposals, scopes of work, presentations, client research, and relationship-building efforts.

The ideal candidate brings experience in consulting or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications include:
- Strong project management and organizational skills across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments, including government, nonprofit, and philanthropy sectors.
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships and navigate sensitive or complex conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Experience collaborating across teams and leveraging internal and external resources effectively.
- Proficiency with business and project management tools.
- Ability to effectively use and critically evaluate AI tools and emerging technologies in research, analysis, and project delivery.
